• Metadata import via Excel file.
  • Existing metadata can now be added to objects via a Microsoft Excel file. This feature can be used to easily transfer metadata from other systems.
  • A set of new metadata (= columns of Excel spreadsheets) can be set based on existing metadata (or a combination of metadata). Existing metadata can be e.g. the file name or folder path.
• Advanced import functionality for HTML & XML.
  • For HTML and XML files, import can now be controlled via a configuration object.
  • Files can be split into multiple objects during import based on configurable element boundaries.
  • Simple transformations can change or remove elements when importing HTML/XML.
• Optimizations in AI procedures.
  • Multiple machine Learning models for different languages can now be active on the same metadata. The appropriate language-specific model is automatically set based on the detected language.
  • For extractors, it is now possible to specify to which scopes of an object they should be applied. Available scopes are text, title and metadata sources. The setting is done via configuration object ("scopes": ["text", "titles", "sources"]).
• Quick explanation view for AI predictions.
  • Within the “Assign and approve metadata” workflow step, additional AI features can now be quickly accessed via the Metadata Manager.
  • For an AI metadata prediction, an explanation can now be displayed directly via the Metadata Manager.
  • For metadata where the AI prediction has been manually changed, the previous revision is visible in the Metadata Manager.
• New features for PDF documents.
  • PDF pages can now be rotated in full screen view using two new buttons.
  • PDFs can now be split or individual pages can be extracted from PDFs in the PDF preview. For this purpose, a new PDF document can be created for a manually defined page range.
  • In the “Assign and approve metadata” workflow step, multiple PDF documents can now be merged into a new PDF document via the More menu at object level.
• Optimization for VDI 2770.
  • Custom DocumentIdDomains (document IDs) can now be created and output via the “DocumentId Domain” role (plus:DocumentIdentityDomain).
  • Supplier documentation can now be integrated into a VDI 2770 container as a media archive without the need for a separate nested VDI 2770 container. A hybrid container mechanism (iiRDS/VDI 2770) is used for this purpose. If you have any questions about this topic, please contact the support.
  • New output is nrOfPages at the DocumentVersionId level and DocumentVersionId and Description for the DocumentRelationship information in the main document.

Enterprise & Global

• Integration with SAP AIN / SAP Business Network for Asset Management.
  • With a new workflow, documents can now be prepared in compliance with VDI 2770 and exchanged with SAP AIN.
  • VDI 2770 containers, documents, equipment and models are transferred to SAP AIN, where they are extended or, if necessary, newly created.
  • Documentation for an equipment can be versioned from plusmeta, published and shared with business partners.
  • To use these functions an SAP AIN instance is required (if necessary, by invitation of a business partner) as well as plusmeta Global.

Andere

• In the “Add objects” workflow step, the object type can now be quickly changed in the “Object type” column via a dropdown.
• Mappings can now be modeled with multiple source and target values.
• Configuration objects can now be easily imported and exported.
• If an iiRDS package contains a directory, it can be displayed and used for navigation.

Fehler

• Due to a bug in the cloud infrastructure, performance could be affected in the period 08/22 - 08/23.
• Errors related to preview and linking segments have been fixed.
• Display errors in the PDF preview have been fixed.
