- Composite metadata
- With this new function, the value of a metadata can be composed from other metadata, similar to the Generated Title function.
- The resulting string can be freely configured, from which metadata it is composed and which separators are between the values.
- In addition, it can be set for each metadata whether the label, the public name, or the identifier is to be written in the string.
- Compound metadata can be configured using a configuration object with the Compound String template.
- Automatic linking of objects with identical file names
- As of now, objects that have the same file name (except file extension) can be automatically linked to each other.
- This function is useful for VDI 2770 projects, for example, if an additional format variant (e.g. source format of a file) to the required PDF/A file is to be packed in a joint document container. But the function can also be useful for language variants and file versions.
- To activate the function, the project setting
Automatically link objectsmust be activated in the corresponding project before the second workflow step is executed. - The linking of files with different file names via a format variant ID remains.
- New settings for iiRDS package generation
- In workflows in which an iiRDS package is generated, it is now possible to select via a project setting in which iiRDS version the containers are to be generated.
- Via another project setting, it can be set that a separate iiRDS package is generated per document. For certain content delivery portals, this is a prerequisite for successful import.
- In addition, complex ZIP archives (media archives) and folder structures can now also be played out as iiRDS packages.
Enterprise & Global
- SharePoint integration
- With the new SharePoint integration, output files from workflows can be stored directly on a SharePoint.
- Once the interface is set up, specific paths (or libraries) can be selected for storage.
- Generate large data packages asynchronously
- In workflows where large data packages or output files are generated, generation can now take place asynchronously on the server.
- The new strategy allows data packages of several gigabytes file size to be generated without any problems.
Other
- In the navigation sidebar in the properties view, the values are now sorted alphabetically.
- The plusmeta interface is now easier to use on devices with touch controls.
- The QR code of an AutoID stated in VDI 2770 documentation containers can now be issued compliant to all IEC 61406 specifications.
- The e-mail messages for initial login and notification of user changes are now available in English.
Bug
- Inconsistencies in language localization have been fixed.
- An error where objects were created twice when nesting media archives in the export of iiRDS packages has been fixed.
- The performance of the system has been optimized. Loading times have been improved as a result.
- An error that occurred in special constellations during multiple metadata allocation has been fixed.
- The “Select all for OCR” option in the “Add content” view is available again.
- Linking documents via format variant ID now works again with more than 10 objects.
