plusmeta 3.3

Released:

New

  • Groups for metadata
    • Metadata can now be grouped in the “Assign and approve metadata” workflow step.
    • Metadata groups present many metadata in a clearer and more structured way.
    • If there are several groups, the top group is displayed expanded, the others can be expanded. In addition, the attribute “Open by default” (plus:openByDefault) can be used to configure which group is expanded by default.
    • Which groups there are and to which group a metadata is assigned can be freely configured. System-side four groups are already predefined:
      “Product-related metadata” (plus:ProductMetadataGroup),
      “Administrative metadata” (plus:AdminMetadataGroup),
      “Information-related metadata” (plus:InformationMetadataGroup),
      “Basic Metadata” (plus:BasicMetadataGroup).
    • To create a new group, a property with the desired name must be created within the “Metadata group” class (plus:MetadataGroup).
    • To assign metadata to a group, the metadata must be linked to the desired group via the relation “is part of metadata group” (plus:is-part-of-metadata-group).
Metadata that is not associated with any group will be assigned to the default “metadata” group.
    • In which order the groups are displayed can be configured via the attribute “Metadata sort order” (plus:metaListPriority).
  • Insert multiple values easily
    • Multiple values can now be copied or entered into metadata fields of the data type “Array” (plus:Array) as well as into indicator fields at once.
    • The separator that divides the values from each other can be adjusted directly in the dialog.
    • The default value for the separator is newline (\n).
    • In case of metadata fields, the attribute “Separator multiple values” (plus:separator-multiple-values) can be used to freely configure the default value per metadata.
  • Read-only metadata
    • Metadata can now be configured with the attribute “Read-only” (plus:readOnlyAssignment) so that it cannot be changed by users.
    • This can be useful, for example, for objects that have been imported with existing metadata and whose metadata should not be changed or should only be displayed to support the user.
    • Read-only metadata is marked with a lock icon on the metadata indicator.
  • Configurable document classifications for VDI 2770
    • Using the system role “Document classification” (vdi:DocumentClassification), any metadata can now be configured as document classification for export in VDI 2770 containers.
    • The published name of the document classification and its associated values in the VDI-2770 package is specified via the attribute “Public name” (plus:publicName).
  • Assign metadata to multiple objects
    • In the workflow step “Assign and approve metadata”, metadata can now be assigned to multiple, selected objects simultaneously.
    • Using the “Assign metadata to multiple objects” button, a specific metadata with value can be entered that is to be assigned to multiple objects in the project. The objects to which the metadata is to be assigned are then selected.
    • The “Merge with existing values” button can be used to set whether existing metadata values are to be overwritten or whether the new value is to be added to existing ones.
    • The function is disabled by default and can be enabled on request.
  • Extended validation of iiRDS & VDI 2770
    • VDI 2770 containers and iiRDS packages are validated during import.
    • The result of the validation is now displayed in the table column ‘Conformity’ with a new button.
    • If incorrect or incomplete packages are detected during validation, an error report can be opened by clicking the button in the Conformity column.
  • Expanded functionality for extracting sections from HTML files
    • When extracting sections from HTML files, plusmeta can now generate other object types, such as content modules or images, in addition to fragments.
    • For this purpose, the control statement data-plus-convert-to-object must be specified in the HTML file at the corresponding section together with a configured object type from plusmeta (e.g. plus:Image).

Enterprise & Global

  • ST4 AI Cube
    • The ST4 AI Cube has been optimized in functionality and performance.
    • The language of content nodes from ST4 is now passed directly to plusmeta and displayed there as metadata.
    • The node class from ST4 is now used to automatically determine the appropriate object type in plusmeta.
    • Bugs from previous versions of the ST4 AI Cube have been fixed.

Other

  • When importing iiRDS packages, contained directories (DirectoryNode) can now also be processed. These are saved as a separate objects with the object type “Directory” (plus:Directory).
  • The “Extract fragments” project setting is now also available in the “Analyze similarity” workflow.
  • The user profile has been extended by the “Department” field.
  • The “Trace” field in the metadata heatmap in the “Extract Metadata” workflow step has been renamed to “Explanation” for better clarity.
  • If a user is redirected to the login page when calling up a direct link (e.g. to a workflow step), there is now an automatic redirection to the originally entered link after a successful login.

Bug

  • Fixed an error that affected the automatic analysis of subsequently added objects.
  • Fixed an error that occurred when displaying accuracy and data quality in AI model training.
