New
- Generation of VDI 2770 packages based on digital twins
- In the “Create VDI 2770 package” workflow, the VDI 2770 packages can now also be generated on the basis of digital twins.
- To do this, digital twins must be created in the project, for example via an Excel import that defines the digital twins. A digital twin must exist for each instance for which a VDI 2770 container is to be delivered.
- In this case, there is a clear separation between instance-related (product-related) and document-related metadata in plusmeta.
- The instance-related metadata describes the product, component or system and is specified directly on the digital twin. Examples include the serial number, AutoID (in accordance with IEC 61406), product type, manufacturer, etc.
- The document-related metadata is specified on the document. Examples of this are the document language, document type, summary, etc. The documents are then assigned to the digital twins via an object relationship.
- A VDI 2770 container is generated for each digital twin.
- A document can also be assigned to several digital twins. When the VDI 2770 packages are generated, these documents are then multiplied and packed into all VDI 2770 containers whose digital twins they are assigned to.
- Generation of nested VDI 2770 containers in one project
- By using digital twins in the “Create VDI 2770 package” workflow, nested VDI 2770 containers can now be created directly in plusmeta.
- Several VDI 2770 containers can be created within one project, nested to any depth.
- The nesting is created by the hierarchical arrangement of digital twins. Digital twins are linked to each other via an object relationship.
- The hierarchical assignment of the digital twins can be defined directly via an Excel import.
- Automatic suggestions for indicators
- Indicators for metadata values can now be added automatically in the “Assign and approve metadata” workflow step.
- At the push of a button, the indicators displayed in the metadata manager are supplemented with further indicators from the text. The automatically added indicators are initially highlighted in blue to distinguish them from the gray existing indicators and the green manually added indicators.
- This function can also be configured. Please contact your plusmeta project manager if you are interested in this function.
- Addition of context functions to the “Rule-based” & “Auto-extractor” methods
- The application of a method to a limited context can enable reliable extraction in the first place or improve predictions.
- For this purpose, additional parameters have been added to the configuration objects “Automatic extractor” and “Rule-based prediction”, which enable the specification of a context for the extraction method.
- It is possible to determine which elements of a property are included as variables in the context, which regex flags are applied to the context or which character strings enclose the context.
- This function must be configured. Please contact your plusmeta project manager if you are interested in the function.
- Extended functionalities for similarity analysis
- Metadata can now be assigned directly to comparison pairs in the “Analyze similarity” workflow.
- The metadata group “Similarity analysis metadata” has been added for this purpose. Metadata belonging to this group is displayed on the comparison pairs in the “Clean-up data” workflow step.
- Using the metadata, for example, comments can be written on comparison pairs or clean-up procedures can be selected from a list.
- All assigned metadata is also contained in the export formats of the workflow “Analyze similarity”.
- Improvements for the interface to Quanos InfoTwin
- With every workflow run, the product taxonomies are automatically retrieved from Quanos InfoTwin and imported into plusmeta.
- This means that the latest data is always available.
- More useful information in the Metadata Manager
- More information has been added to the metadata manager in the “Assign and approve metadata” workflow step.
- The following information is now visible in the metadata manager: Data type, Recommended or required metadata, Identifier, Associated relation type, Description
- The data type and the recommendation or requirement of metadata are displayed directly in the metadata manager. Further information can be expanded with a click.
- Please note that only existing information on the property can also be displayed in the metadata manager.
Other
- Directories in the “Check and assign metadata” workflow step have been fundamentally revised and can now be defined configuratively and thus generated automatically. The filter functionality through directories (what is displayed when you click on an entry in the directory) can also be configured.
- Metadata can now be assigned to digital twins in plusmeta via the fallback function and via metadata defaults.
- In the metadata preview in the “Assign and approve metadata” workflow step, the data type of the metadata can now also be recognized by an icon.
Bug
- An error in the rights configuration relating to the filtering of properties has been fixed. This avoids filters that cannot be deactivated with your own rights configuration.
- A problem with the visualization of extracted text passages in the AI explanation has been fixed. The marked text passage now always corresponds to the extracted text passage.
- VDI 2770 generation: A formatting problem in the main document with several assigned document categories has been fixed.
- Fixed an error when uploading your own logos for the plusmeta interface with branding.
- Fixed an error when automatically fragmenting HTML files.
- An eor that occurred in connection with the fallback function in plusmeta has been fixed.
