In this section of “the” Administration view you can see the “roles” in plusmeta.

Roles in plusmeta

In plusmeta, permissions are not assigned directly to users. Roles are used instead. The permissions are assigned to roles, which in turn are assigned to the users. So “the user is assigned a role” that contains different permissions. You can set which permissions a role contains in the Actions, Views, and Workflows  sections of the Administration view.
