The order in which the metadata is displayed in the workflow step Assign and approve metadata can be adjusted by assigning priorities. You assign the attribute Metadata sort order and a value to the metadata.
By default, only the two metadata Title and Language have such a metadata sort order, whereby Title has the value 1 and Language has the value 2. For this reason, the title is listed first and the language second for each object by default.
- Open the Properties view using the sidebar.
- Search for the desired property.
Tip: There are various ways to search for properties. In addition to the search field and the filter field at the top of the Properties view, it is also possible to use the button to set further filters. By filtering for the system role Metadata, you will only be shown the properties that can be assigned as metadata.
- Open the Edit properties dialogue for the desired property using the button.
- Click on the Attributes tab.
- Click on the Add button and select the attribute Metadata sort order from the drop-down list.
- Enter the desired position in the order using a number. Where 1 corresponds to the first position, 2 to the second position, etc. The changes are saved automatically and you can close the dialogue by clicking on CLOSE or by clicking outside the dialogue.
Note: If metadata is not required, it is only assigned if it has a corresponding configuration and can be found in the object. For this reason, metadata may not appear even though it has a metadata sort order configured. If you add metadata manually using the Add button it will initially appear at the bottom.
