Content of this topic
The metadata indicators are the colored circles next to the extracted metadata. They indicate how the metadata was extracted, how confident the system is and whether it is required metadata.
The elements used have the following meanings:
Colors
| Color | Name | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Beige | File | This metadata was already stored as metadata or similar in the object and was extracted in this way. |
| Blue | System | This metadata was extracted by plusmeta itself. The unfinished contour line of the blue circles indicates the confidence. |
| Green | User | This metadata was set or changed by you or another user. |
Icons

| Point | Metadata value corresponds to the project guidelines | |

Filling
The filling or how far the contour of the circle is completed indicates how certain the system is with its prediction. This is called confidence.
Tooltip
If you move the mouse pointer over a metadata indicator, a tooltip appears. The method used to extract the metadata is displayed next to the confidence in the tooltip.

| RB | Rule-based assignment | Assignment based on rules on indicators found in the text. |
| MP | Mapping | Assignment via defined relations between metadata (knowledge graph). |
| ML | Machine learning | Prediction of metadata using a trained AI model. |
| EX | Extractor | Value extraction based on defined patterns. |
| HE | Heuristic extraction | Special procedure for determining the assumed HTML or PDF title. |
