Content of this topic

You can insert a list of multiple entries into a metadata field in plusmeta. When inserting indicators for metadata, this option is also available.

The separator that separates the list entries from each other can be changed directly in the input field. For metadata, you can configure the default separator.

Inserting a list of multiple values

In metadata fields that have the List data type and when specifying indicators, you can copy and paste a list of multiple values at once. You can adjust the separator for the values in the dialogue. The default value is the line break: (\n).

  1. To insert multiple values at the same time, click the button.
    A dialogue window opens.
  2. In the Values field, insert the values, for example using the keyboard shortcut CTRL + V.
  3. If you want to change the separator, click in the Separator field and enter the desired character.
  4. To apply the values, click SAVE.
Note: If you have changed the separator in the dialogue, it jumps back to the default value after each application. For metadata, you can configure a different separator as the default value.

Configure separator for value lists

If your lists typically have a different separator than the separator predefined in plusmeta, you can change the default value. The separator is configurable for each metadata of the data type list.
